Today’s wedding went real smoothly, weather was cooling and sky was blue… My short break has done me good :)

Karine reminded me alot of Adeline, Marc should not get jealous, just that Eric and Karine both showed same happines and joy throughout their wedding.

Been up since 3 a.m. and started shooting from 4:30 a.m. Travelled all over the Island and now rushing off to their solemnization. I just need to keep awake till end of their banquet for my well deserved break starting tomorrow :)

I went to today’s wedding with a recovering stomach flu, thankfully I brought Chris along. I was aching all over and felt like puking throughout the day. Jeff and Shandy are a wonderful couple, they make a lovely couple. :)

Throughout the day, i was reminded of this post by K.C. I recall laughing and imaging him at his wedding with a wannabe Quentin Tarantino videographer.

Today I kenna a Jack Neo wannabe Photographer… Wah, everything he also have commentary. During his group photo taking sessions, he will tell adults not to talk as the kids will be distracted and not look at his camera. He will stop the couple from coming out of the house and freezing them directly under the door frame to take a photo of them. He got everyone to say “Huat Ah!” and even annouce that it will look very nice in my video :)

Don’t get me wrong, he is a good guy, very hard working. He deserves every cent he charges, running around to gather stools for his group photos, arranging the stools and positioning everyone for his shoot during tea ceremony. Directing when he was ready for relatives to serve tea, reminding couple to finish their tea, annoucing the tea is sweet, and reminding them to give Ang Pow.

Hard as I try not to disrupt wedding days and let them just flow… I have to at certain “more” important ceremonies step up and position the men on the left and women on the right. Force my couples to kiss for the camera, forcing parents to look at their daughter instead of me when covering her veil.

Anyways… I have to go rest early for tomorrow’s wedding. I am very glad that I work with my few selective photographers that are deemed my buddies. Happy New Year everyone.. and … HUAT AH!
