Silat Federation

Spent the last 3 days working on Singapore Silat Federation’s “1st All Women’s International Open Pencak Silat Championship 2008″.
Yeap.. 2nd, 3rd and 4th day of this Chinese New Year was spent working! This weekend was 10 hours each day of almost non-stop shooting. Chris, Tony and I recorded 16 hours worth of footage
We went with 3 videocameras and absolutely no clue what Silat was about. I am now a fan of the sport/martial arts, I even have a favourite competitor. I am guessing that she is in primary school. She sank my heart when i saw her tearing in pain and defeat. I went up to her later to tell her that I am her biggest fan. She was so shy… blushing when i asked to shake her hand and for her autograph. I’ll find out her name and post her fight for you guys
This weekend was such a nice break from my weddings. I am genuinely glad to take on this job, I told the organizers that even if we don’t get to work on their future events, I’ll still go support Singapore’s Silat.
Thank you to Amos and Joho for coming to support us with photography, Cheers guys…
BOWS 2008 and Wedding Masters Singapore

Been really busy last few days preparing for BOWS 2008 together with my new bunch of photographer buddies. BrilliantPic is now associated with Wedding Masters Sinagapore as their offical Videographer. I am familiar and have worked numerous times with only a few of their credited M.P.A. photogrpahers but it looks I will be having good fun and performing well at wedding shoots together.
I will be at the booth from Friday 12 noon till Sunday’s 10 pm, except Saturday from about 3pm onwards.
Do drop by and say hi!
